| Short history: | Earliest records are not available but probably began in 1919 with John Redpath as Chief. The Society affiliated with the V.S.U. in 1924 and hosted the Annual Conference in that year. In 1952 the Society purchased it’s own Club Rooms for meetings and social activities. Due to increasing Rate charges, Insurance and Maintenance Costs, in 1985 the decision was made to dispose of the property. Since then the Society has used the Anglican Church Hall as the venue for meetings and socials. |
