Purpose:	To promote and encourage people to join Scottish Country Dancing Groups. We believe our dance provides fellowship,fun, and fitness. It appeals to all nationalities, is non-sectarian, and is enjoyed by many groups around the world. We take an active role in Community activities.

Short history:	The Group has been in existence for over fifty years. During that period, three teachers Les Gammack, Colin Campbell, and Margaret Slater have been responsible for the instruction. This year, Lilian Campbell, Instructor, has accepted that responsibility.
